Our Story
Founded by Helen Agresti, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in Erie, PA, Be Free Bar was created in response to the increasing demand for nutrient-dense snack options. Drawing from years of experience counseling clients, Helen recognized the need for bars that provide a healthy balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, fiber, and healthy fat. Inspired by one of her most popular cookie recipes—chocolate peanut butter no-bake—she set out to develop nutritious snack bars using only real ingredients. Today, Be Free Bars are readily available, offering a delicious and wholesome snack option.
